Ilgājs- Money Stone Trail in Protected landscape area “Veclaicene”. The nature trail is popular with both walking and bird watching enthusiasts. Aluksne Manor Park. “Easy jump” from the city into nature. This place is popular for its short distance from the city center. There are a total of 92 bird species in the park. Kids will enjoy bird watching.
Nature trail “Ezertaka”. 2,8 km long walking trail, that leads around the Peninsula of Lake Alūksne.You will see beautiful coastal landscapes and two islands, surrounded by legends and stories – “Hat Island” (Cepurīte) and “Long Island”. Right along the shore of the lake you will have the opportunity to watch various birds living in the water, as well as maybe see the first whistles.
