Alūksne Culture Centre

Alūksne Culture Centre is the largest place of cultural events in Alūksne, where creativity, professionalism and adventure meets. A high- quality program of concerts, theaters and exhibitions are available in the spacious and modern premises of the cultural center throughout the year.
The Alūksne Folk Applied Art Studio “Kalme” operates in the Culture Centre, where local masters work creatively and gladly welcomes guests. Also Uldis Sedlinieks’ Alūksne Folk Theater “Slieksnis” regularly delights with new performances in Chamber Hall.
The Culture Centre is located in a building built at the end of the 19th century, when it served as a part of the Alūksne Manor complex as a distillery and brewery. Later, the building was taken over by the Alūksne Society and since then the building has always had a cultural atmosphere.
