Relax cottages “Liepiņas”

The place for rest and overnight stay “Liepiņas” is located on the shore of Lake Dzirnavezers, 3 km from the Alūksne city, in Alsviķu parish, surrounded by forests, meadows and waters.

Recreation options include:

Two (one room) heated cottages– “Dzilnas” (4 persons) and“Vālodzes” (3 persons)- equipped with bed linen, dishes, gas stove with pan and kettle, grill, cast iron pot, firewood. Drinking water available in closed containers. There is an outdoor cold water shower (summer), outdoor WC, located 30 meters from the accommodations. Electricity for lighting and phone charging is provided from the battery.

Fishing in Lake Dzirnavezers, where wild fish lived, including carp weighing up to 16 kg. There are pike, tench, carp, crucian carp, bream and some perch in the lake. Fishing competitions are also organized.

Also available hot tub and boat rental, outdoor bowling, tent and fire place.

Two bath houses available – one on the shore of the lake (for up to 6 people, with overnight stays in the summer season. Water available in the lake. Outdoor WC available), the other one- in the yard of the owner’s house (up to 12 people, with overnight stays in the summer season) – with facilities, shower inside.

This is a place to enjoy the idyll of the countryside and peaceful time in a natural, untouched landscape, go fishing, mushrooming, collecting nuts, as well as learning more about the former Vidzeme railway “Stukmaņi (Pļaviņas) – Gulbene – Alūksne – Valka”. This place is loved by wild animals and birds.
