Ilgājs – Money Stone Trail in Veclaicene
The trail leads through places mentioned in legends and tales – hillocks, valleys, forest trails, meadows and lakes in the Kornetu-Peļļi ravine, which was formed as a result of a strong current from melting glaciers at the end of the Ice Age. The inexplicable force of nature made people create the legends about the Devil, who built a bridge over Lake Ilgājs, but numerous war events have left tales about Lake Palpieris, which was drunk up during the Northern War, and the money buried next to it.
