Latvian semi-precious stone workshop

A place where you can get to know the rich range of semi-precious stones found in Latvia on an exploratory tour, as well as their processing. The workshop displays a family-made collection, the exhibits have been collected and processed for more than 10 years.

Semi-precious stones – jasper, serpentinite, quartz, quartzite, merlinite and many others – you will learn more about them in the exploratory tours – in the on-site workshop.

During the visit of the exposition, it is possible not only to learn, but also to mint Alūksne coins in copper (obverse – Alūksne – Oluksna, reverse – Temple Hill). This type of coin can also be minted in silver – by order.
