Vārnukalns Boulder

The size of the boulder according to the data of the Latvian Petroglyph Centre:
Height 3,7 m
Length 5,2 m
Width 3,4 m
Circumference 14,7 m
Area 32 m³

There has always been a small boulder on a hillock near the Vārnukalni homestead. The land owner was eager to find out the real size of the boulder, so in 2010 he dug the ground around it. Since then, you can see the large boulder, which is formed as if from two parts – the moss covered upper part and the grey lower part, which was excavated not so long ago.
