"Roadgames”- adventure game in Alūksne!
Did you know that in 1689 German pastor Ernst Glück accomplished one of the most important works of his life in Alūksne? He translated the Bible into Latvian. The oaks he planted still grow in the rectory park. Alūksne is often called the pearl of Northern Vidzeme, and not for nothing. You can explore the city streets, visit the Fittinghof obelisk, the Pomona and Aeolian temples, visit the rotunda of the Temple Mount, and enjoy the view of the picturesque castle island on the edge of Lake Alūksne. Lanterns here whisper at night, beehives buzz with life in the courtyards, and an old legend about poor Mary still lives in the walls of the Alūksne castle. What’s the legend about? Your job is to find out..
The game is rich in content, in which everyone chooses the starting point. We recommend to start the game near Alūksne Old Palace, Alūksne Castle island (Pilssala) or Alūksne Manor Park. For those who have already got to know Alūksne well- nearby Alūksne Bānītis station.
The players will be exciting in adventure!
